modern artificial intelligence
Labels -- The Cornerstone of Modern Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, Big Data, Deep Learning, … Those are quite some terms! As a matter of fact, with so many terms, it almost feels like being trapped in a jungle of buzzwords when entering the adventure to find the most beneficial data-driven use cases in a company. A nice rule-of-thumb to get an overview in this complex jungle is to state that for modern AI applications, Supervised Learning (SL) is an integral part in most cases. SL is a subset of AI, in which models -- such as deep neural networks -- learn by examples. We will take a look at how SL works in this blog post to better understand why creating such learning examples is one of the key tasks in implementing modern AI.
Modern Artificial Intelligence with Zero Coding
Build 5 Practical Projects & Harness the Power of AI to solve practical, real-world business problems with Zero Coding! Do you want to build super powerful applications in Artificial intelligence (AI) but you don't know how to code? Are you intimidated by AI and don't know where to start? Or maybe you don't have a computer science degree and want to break into AI? Are you an aspiring entrepreneur who wants to maximize business revenue and reduce costs with AI but don't know how to get there quickly and efficiently?
The Centralization Challenges of Modern Artificial Intelligence
I recently started an AI-focused educational newsletter, that already has over 70,000 subscribers. TheSequence is a no-BS (meaning no hype, no news etc) ML-oriented newsletter that takes 5 minutes to read. The goal is to keep you up to date with machine learning projects, research papers and concepts. One of the pivotal challenges of the next decade of artificial intelligence(AI) is to determine whether data and intelligence are democratized or remain in control of a few large organizations. A few months ago, I wrote a three-part series of the decentralization of artificial intelligence(AI).
Modern artificial intelligence: algorithms through analytics
Artificial intelligence is on everyone's lips and everyone's mind. I travel the world and speak to customers, colleagues, industry analysts, partners, and reporters. Invariably, every conversation these days turns at some point to AI: the opportunities, the threats, the limitations, and the future. AI systems have been around since the 1950s. After overhyped expectations could not be met, the first AI winter set in, briefly thawed with successes of rule-based expert systems in the 1980s.
True Artificial Intelligence will change everything Juergen Schmidhuber TEDxLakeComo
Prof. Jürgen Schmidhuber has been called the father of modern Artificial Intelligence. His lab's deep learning methods have revolutionized machine learning and are now available on 3 billion smartphones, and used billions of times per day, e.g. for Facebook's automatic translation, Google's speech recognition, Apple's Siri & QuickType, Amazon's Alexa, etc. His research group also established the field of mathematically rigorous universal AI and optimal universal problem solvers. His formal theory of creativity & curiosity & fun explains art, science, music, and humor. He is recipient of numerous awards including the 2016 IEEE Neural Networks Pioneer Award "for pioneering contributions to deep learning and neural networks". Prof. Jürgen Schmidhuber has been called the father of modern Artificial Intelligence.
5 Examples of Modern Artificial Intelligence in Action
Unless you've been living under a rock, probably been reading and seeing a lot about artificial intelligence. And even if that's the case, AI has probably invaded your consciousness in one form or another. People have a lot of different conceptions of AI. For some, it means the end of the world is nigh: The robot revolution will be rising and annihilating humanity any day now. While it's impossible to rule anything out, artificial intelligence is really meant to help us make systems more efficient.
